Frantoio

This olive grove shows the intention of the Mela family to have land at different heights so as to pick the olives at different times and so vary the quality. In this case, the two regions of interest are called Fascei and Martine respectively. The first place name refers to terraced land, while the second has a special meaning for the Torria region: the patron saint of the village is Saint Martin.
