Our sun-dried tomatoes are made according to our great grandmother's ancient recipe: marinated in our extra virgin olive oil. Delicious on bread: Put the sun-dried tomato on the bread, with a few capers and a little of our finest oil if you wish, just like the old Ligurian coastal dwellers used to. They can be spread on bread as an antipasto. Our sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil as well as the tiny dried cherry tomatoes are two specialities which will enhance almost any dish. There are also deseeded tomatoes and the peeled tomatoes, both of which are a useful ingredient for any chef.
Tuna, anchovies, olives and capers are combined with aromatic herbs and extra virgin olive oil. The result is a unique speciality with chilli as the main ingredient, which is best served as an appetiser or as a garnish or side dish.
To enhance dishes: In sauces, and with fish and meat, the capers are pickled in brine or in salt, as they used to be. To achieve a delicate flavour, we have also put the capers in our extra virgin olive oil. Our coarse sea salt, which is slightly spicy, is excellent with meat and fish. Our fine salt with countless spices is superb with salads, vegetables, carpaccio of meat and fish – whichever way you like it.
